Well I just woke up & placed my order. I got Primrose & Sunset beach, wanted both blushes, but since the other is similar to Torrid I passed. Hope Sunset is Woc friendly.

So much for skipping. I caved and got the two blushes and eye pencil. Still unsure on a lipstick. I was sleeping and the text message from Mac woke me up. I was shocked stuff was still available. So glad to see the overnight shipping code: NEXT

It really was. I remember it applying when I got my Archie's Girls last year, but I don't think I've bought any special packaging since then. And I certainly never bothered with anything from a couture collection before. But I figured it was worth calling and checking.

Ordered Ocean City for myself anyway. Never had an ombre blush before, and I've been loving the look of this one so hard!

I think for Archie's MAC said no discount and then we got it.

No, certain brands aren't available for purchase online BUT you can order over the phone. I'm in NY and thats how I place all my orders. Shipping is usually around $8-$9 so I usually order enough to make up for it. They're pretty quick too. Like 3-4 days via Fed Ex. Once you give them a call, your Pro info is automatically in their system. Customer service is amazing as well!!

I remember reading on MAC's FB how many people could not get what they wanted from the last RIRI collection then seeing the items on eBay for $70. and wondering how it was supposed to be limited quantities when sellers had, like, 30 lipsticks for sale. I thought I was lucky to avoid that when here comes Ocean City and I got sucked in! I was nearly tempted to pay $50. on a presale listing but I just can't support that kind of markup so I just stayed up refreshing MAC and Nordstrom. Thank goodness MAC didn't just crash.

I just joined today. I previously visited the site whilst searching for NC42/43-appropriate nude lipsticks, one of the Rihanna x MAC collections last year and for the MAC x Proenza collection (that I actually lost sleep over last night, ugh). I came on today as well to say that Ocean City was up on MAC and saw that users were already aware but I still decided to join so I can help out in the future.
I hope you all got thru with your orders and don't have to resort to any eBay seller's exorbitant prices.

Welcome!!! I have to warn you as a fellow newbie, my obsession has worsened since joining lol! It's so hard when all these beautiful ladies post pictures of the different colors to say no!!! But they have helped me avoid a few purchases I would have regretted too. Like there have been a couple colors I was dead set on buying, but then I read what all these folks thought and realized that my pale NW skin is just not going to work with certain colors. Either way, I'm the only person in my family who even WEARS makeup, so it's pretty great to have somewhere I can talk about it. My mom has two lipsticks. Total. Ever. No other makeup. And the only makeup my sister has is the stuff I gave her ten years ago in high school that she hasn't used up yet lol So welcome to the boards!!!! I hope you have fun and post lots of swatches!!!

Lol, none of my friends can stand when I talk about makeup either, and I work in a premium beauty hall! This is why I love Specktra soooo much.

But where will I put them? I was just rearranging my blush and highlight drawers yesterday and they are full. I have bought so many blushes in the last few weeks and I still want more. How do they manage to keep coming out with fantastic items?

Seems like skin tone and lip pigmentation can change the way makeup (especially lipsticks) look so much. Especially when looking for nude lipsticks as I've found lol
Will definitely have to add some swatches!
Not sure if I can manage another MAC collection but they keep churning out pretty makeup lol

I'd planned to skip this collection thinking the items I liked would sell out and I'd be ticked off at MAC for having such limited quantity. Dressed up to kill. 00 I was looking at this "outlet loubutin store" yesterday and last night I put some stuff on my cart but I think they're fakes tho. So I prob won't be getting them or prob just one pair to see how they really like? I don't support fakes. But it's so tempting to get just one pair to see if they are the real thing ... But I woke up dreaming of these

Haha, it's so hard to make them see how much fun it is! It's not even about being "beautiful", that's a side benefit, it's about colors and textures and art and transformation. I wish they could forget about societal expectations and just see it for the play that it really is, not too much difference between me and a kindergartner getting a new box of crayons lol
