MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

It really is gorgeous and the formula on these is so creamy. It does look like something I already have, possibly All Fired Up?

Finally trying one of my Playland lipsticks on! This is Sweet Experience, and it's basically just a baby pink on me since I'm so pale!

Everyone looks so nice in their Sweet Experience. But on me it is very INTENSE BRIGHT light-medium pink. I have to pat it down a little. Definitely not baby pink.

It would be WAY too bright on me. Sweet Experience is already pushing my brightness limits and I pat it down a bit.

Ahhh so that may be why I don't like red ballon on me. I do not like Afu on me, or covergirl's flame. Those are actually very similar. However with a liner All fired up is the bomb, I may give red balloon another try with a liner. U guys are here to think for me. It really is gorgeous and the formula on these is so creamy. All Fired Up, Red Balloon, Revlon Cherries in the Snow They aren't showing in my picture true to color, they are all much more pink. But AFU definitely has more red in it. They are similar though and I could see why they would pull similarly on the lips.

I swatched them too and on my skintone (NC 30) they are very different (besides the finish of course).

I'm going to say that I'm an NC15 because I really believe I'm that foundation shade. LOL. Anywho I'm SO happy with the lipsticks from this collection. With the exception of "Sweet Experience," which is less glossy and slightly dry compared to the others, they're all creamy, opaque, and feel great on my lips. I felt pretty sure amplified was my favorite finish before, but now I know that it is, for a fact, hands down.

Oh, and I think if I had to pick a favorite from this collection, it would be "Toying Around."
