Actually, the same thing on the web is the same names I received for the blushes. The orange one is "Ocean City". It's on the box and the back of the blush.

Mac will have to take some time to sort it all out with an internal investigation to see where & how the mix up started. Then they will have to meet with the designers...lawyers lawyers lawyers prolly too. The cs people won't have any say until the order comes down from on high. Everyone will get to keep their blushes & get the right one, or they will send new correct ones with prepaid return ship labels for the incorrect one. My guess is they will just let you keep the wrong blush, send you the new & right it off as a loss.
I'm thinking maybe they'll do that too, but I have no idea, I think the right thing to do would definitely be to let everyone keep the blush and send the right one too, it's not like they're going to resell the ones they sent out, right?

That is probably what they will do. But, they still have to investigate & then there is the Proenza Schouler licensing factor in all of this which can get legally complicated.

Yikes, I also got the wrong blushes. Ordered 2 ocean city for my best friend and I and one sunset beach for me and got the opposite. On hold now, probably like everyone else...

They would be losing way too much .. I think they'll let you keep what you received and refund the money .. Where are they suppose to get all these new blushes from?

Whoa, what in the world happened? This thread blew up. Are people not getting the right blush? And does the pigmentation really suck? Wonder if I should cancel my Nordstrom order....

Nordstrom would probably get this resolved faster than MAC.....

But yes, people are getting the wrong orders and it's a "known issue", CS was very nice. Supposedly someone will call me over the next two days...just imagine ebay blowing up more if they tell people to keep the blushes (which I think they let people do during the Rihanna lipstick thing)...

Nordstrom can't resolve anything. But, they should not send out any orders until its inspected or corrected. Someone at MAC processing mixed up the blushes & when they were pulled for the orders, they assumed the product was correct.

I don't find anything wrong with the pigmentation in the blushes unless there is a discrepancy there too.

I swatched both blushes and I'm not really impressed. The pigmentation wasn't horrible, but it wasn't superb either, especially considering the price and hype. Definitely WAS NOT worth this whole mix up fiasco.

Sunset Beach showed up fine from light to dark. Ocean City's lightest part is a bit too light for me, but it's pigmentation was fine. I will try these on the face before decided whether to return them or not.

At this point, MAC can just send me the shipping label for the 2nd SB. I'm over it all and it doesn't seem very worth it after all is said and done.
