well what did the jerk say u had a big butt??? in 4th grade i had huge boobs and everyone called me a slut and whore. jus cuz i had tits, geez!!!
Isn't that weird that people say things like that? As if the size of your breasts has anything to do with if you have sex, how often, with whom, etc. that just shows a stupid person (probably jealous, too). The guy who made fun of me said my butt stuck out too far. I was skinny as a toothpick, I just had a big curve in my back and then the butt was/is out there! I can't do anything about that. And now, thankfully, having a booty is in. But I must admit I'm still a little self-conscious about it. It is very hard to get over those things. My Mom didn't understand why my sister and I hated school. It was because we were picked on so much! I'm like you, I hate to see or hear about people being picked on, bullied, etc. god only knows what I would have been like if I had kids and someone picked on them. I'd probably be in jail.

hell yeah prison!!! And i am so grateful society has finally embraced the big butt. I hated mine growing up, now i love it. for me it was my thighs i hated so much. they have always been built, strong, like a soccer player, i hated my thick thighs. it was only in the last five years i have grown to like them. The first time a guy said he loved my thighs i was so perplexed. and be glad u have that natural junk in the trunk, its very womanly and goddess like

Idiots! There are people who just post mean things randomly, it seems. I don't understand it. What do they get out of that? It is hard to to put pictures of yourself for the world to see, and then you get those kind of jerks. I enjoy looking at the way different people use make-up and how different one thing can look on different people. Like Kristin said, it's our expression of who we want to be on any given day. And to criticize your artwork? They obviously are idiots, someone's art is also an expression of their self in many ways. I feel better now about the Instagram comment I got this weekend from a total stranger calling me an "ugly ass old woman." I notice that the people who write stuff like that always have private accounts and never use their real name. Incidentally, I'd love to see your artwork. I love art.
Omg, how terrible! I love your pictures! And yeah, they're too scared to ever use anything identifying. Art is so personal, I put it out there for my readers and to sell. For somesome to trash it with no helpful criticism was hard. And since you asked, here are my latest pieces. They are meant to be for children, and some are child-like with a weird twist. I am working on a gallery show right now.

I can also relate to bullying. I was bullied by my second grade teacher, teased in the fourth grade, bullied by a fellow fifth-grade girl, teased by my fifth grade homeroom teacher, and teased by the same two boys throughout middle school. High school was no picnic either. I wish I had the fortitude then to stand up to everyone and tell them off.

In blush news, I got my order today. Everything was as it should be, the only exception being a chip in the extra Ocean City blush I was planning to keep for myself. Only thing MAC customer service offered was a refund, but I get to keep the blush - I'll take it! I'm glad I asked my SA to hold a pair of the blushes for me to pick up tomorrow. I want Sunset Beach now and Ocean City is for a CP.

I'm happy it worked out for me while still upset and in disbelief for those whose orders were royally f'ed up. Hope it all works out in the end for everyone!

Almost everyone lol
Lol. Thanks for the verification! I'm on my phone so it's a pain to go back and reread old postings. Any word on what they're doing to correct it? Seems so strange for such an establushed company to make such a big mistake on the launch day for a new collection. haha.

So far they are saying they will call back in 24-48 hours. I would call so they know to call you back.

They're telling people to give them 24-48 hours for official confirmation on what to do my guess is that they will refund the money and let you keep what you got they don't have enough back up blushes to send out to everyone This happened to almost everyone who ordered and I don't think they'll make more because they have other collections to worry about

Thanks for the info! I sent an email and attached photos of the blush and my packing slip. What a bummer! I hope they end up sending me the blush I want. I should not have to miss out due to their mistake.
