Are the returns automatically discarded regardless of whether or not they were touched at stores like Macy's? Along with my Mangrove order (which is being replaced—thankfully!), I got Pink Fringe and Primrose but I have zero interest in keeping them. I feel like an asshole because I don't want them to go in the garbage just because I'm an indecisive impulse shopper…

Your order may be fine. I expect if it's gone several days since you placed your Nordstrom order than it's probably just fine. Maybe look to whether there is a proposed ship date under your Nordstrom order history? or call maybe. I hope it works!!

They will go to waste. Sell them in the clearance bin instead.

They must throw them away, but send them back if you dont want them, and dont beat yourself up. The cosmetics industry is a multi- billion dollar business and they write it off on their taxes as well as wanting to retain you as a happy customer, their cost for making these is very small. The profit margin for a successful business always factors in returns. They will recycle the container and just start over.

I hope it does too, but I won't get my hopes up. The b site cancelled my order boo!!

Don't know what you ordered but Nordstrom indicated that OC is supposed to be shipped out in May but this Return to Sender thing is kinda odd. Did you check the item and tracking number to see what item you purchased at Nordstrom it matches [@]kimibos[/@]?

I always feel terrible returning things but you're right. I need to make sure I don't get caught up in packaging/collection buzz and make smarter purchases to reduce waste.

Ok, just talked to Mac customer service and wanted to update everyone. I did explain to her that I was told I could return the wrong blush or keep both and pay for the other. I also stated there were others who this happened to and they were told to keep the blush or receive refunds. She said this was probably before the got info on what to do and before the numoreus calls started lol

. So I can keep the blush or get a refund, I think she claimed a supervisor had tried to call, but my # was incorrect. Also if you received the wrong blush the new inventory should arrive sometime or later this week. They are waiting to hear from the Corp office, as to what to do and if there is enough inventory. So if you released the wrong blush you should get your correct one, next week. HTH
