I really disagree with you. I love to see the early information. It makes MAC so much more exciting for me and it's probably half the reason I buy so much MAC. I don't care about occasional discussion of stealing pics, it's easy enough to skip over if it bores you so much. Erin, I LOVE and appreciate all the info you give us! It makes Specktra a WAY more exciting place. Look at how the threads lit up with your awesome guessing games!

I know. I know. We wouldn't wanna annoy the one or two people on here now would we. Cuz god forbid their pics or info were stolen and they get upset.

Honestly I can understand why the pm'ing didn't work. It doesn't bother me but I'm not particularly sensitive to that kind of stuff. Maybe we could just leave it at the guessing games with no actual color story posted after. Let people dig. They'll still be pissed but it might help with the stealing. As for product pics and early swatches maybe we could do without those. I hate to say it and I appreciate all the info you give greatly but you have to protect yourself and your connections.

I think we would all understand if that's what you had to do, given all of the drama associated with it. I'm sure it takes some of the fun out of sharing information when you have to deal with thieves and weirdos. I really appreciate you sharing with all of us though and for all of your advice and wealth of information!

I don't think anyone particularly likes having the theft conversation and I don't think anyone finds it particularly entertaining, it has just unfortunately become a hot topic from time to time because some people are lurking in the rafters and taking even though it is being expressly asked through watermarking for them not to take it. It's irritating even to myself who isn't even the one having the image taken from because it's just plain wrong and it will eventually effect us all in the long run.  When no one is posting advance news of collections anymore for fear of being ripped off whether it be promo pics, swatches, colour stories or even release dates,  these threads are going to be mighty dead. I like seeing colour stories and images beforehand because I can then start forming better lists and I enjoy all the excited chit-chat about collections. If it isn't someone getting upset over the conversation of theft coming up more than once, it's people getting mad that people ask the same thing over and over again or people who get mad when the thread veers a bit off topic etc. I for one really appreciate people like Erin, Naynadine and others who find info and are kind enough to share it with the rest of us, because they sure don't have to. :soapbox:

Yup! I'm a big fan of the guessing games that Erine did recently - so much fun even if I didn't get much of a chance to participate as much as I'd have loved to (darn life getting in the way!)! I am sure many thoroughly enjoyed it. Good idea to keep the completed colour story off the first page! Active Specktra members already read everything and can keep up. There are many people who sincerely appreciate those who share info. Shame to have it ruined by a few bad people *sigh*

Erin! I really hope you decide to keep posting. Just tweaking images so the trolls won't steal. (I hate trolls that steal it's annoying to me and there not even my pics!!) I very much appreciate the info & excitement it brings for each collection. We love all the juicy info :nods: Pls don't stop posting cause two girls are annoyed. Sorry you girls are annoyed, but please take one for the team and scroll like you do on IG when it's something you don't wanna see.

If there is something on here that someone doesn't enjoy or gets bored with the topic just keep scrolling .... What might be boring or dumb to one person might not be the same feeling to the other person. I myself really enjoy the little tease pics @erine1881 & @Naynadine share with us I look forward to those but it is unfortunate that their pics get stolen. We all come here to enjoy the forum and sometimes we need to vent especially when Lurkers are stealing Specktra info this is what makes a blog forum if you don't like what is being offered on here you can simply just stop visiting. There is really no need to B*tch about it and ruin it because your unhappy with what is being said

Please don't let the whiney people ruin it. I know you and the other Nay put a lot into Specktra and MOST of us greatly appreciate you, dislike the trolls/info stealers, and ebay RESELLERS .
