Those Kat VD lipsticks have completely blindsided me and I have fallen out of love with this collection :shock:

I wish I loved KVD's lipsticks I had her painted love lipstick in homegirl (beautiful, perfect color), but that thing was such a patchy hot mess. It also came off too quickly and easily, so this turned me off to the rest of her lipsticks.

I dunno. Living Legend looks like Instigator to me. Styled in Sepia is not what I expected - it's got that "poo lips" look to it. The rest look just... IDK. maybe it's the lighting. Maybe it's my phone.

I ordered Homegirl a few months ago and it was so grainy I sent in for a replacement. My replacement was the same.

I ordered Homegirl a few months ago and it was so grainy I sent in for a replacement. My replacement was the same.

I fill my lips in with nightmoth then put home girl on top. I've had no problem with any of her other lipsticks.

True lol high expectations for MAC collections especially Matte lipsticks..are pretty high for me. Glad you like something though lol

I do that because it can be patchy and helps with texture.

I believe the painted love lipsticks are being discontinued ... But the studded kiss lipsticks have a different formula !

That's good to know! I'm really loving some of the swatches I'm seeing so I'm looking forward to trying them out.

It is grainy One of the worst formulas I've ever tried sadly. I've been looking for a dupe in a better quality lipstick ever since.
