I need Good Kisser
sigh.gif
why oh why did I not order it. Hate it when that happens.

So, are the eyeliners any good & are they waterline safe?
You'll be fine - Good Kisser was surprisingly warm toned even on me!

eyeliners aren't waterline safe, since it's the same basic formulas as the fluidlines. i asked about this when I saw the whole collection and yeah, it's a no-go. I think they're mostly for folks who get shaky doing a cat eye or flick with a brush - they're easy to control.

If someone with a lighter skin tone got their Lingering Kiss lipstick and could compare it to Talk That Talk that would be heaven.

i know I can compare it in T's swatch gallery but her coloring is completely different from mine and usually doesn't work well as a guideline.
Im NC15 and on me, the two of them are almost EXACT dupes. The only difference is LK has a teeeeeny tiny bit more black in it, but because TTT is a retro matte and reflects less light because of the flat finish, the extra black in LK just makes it match the reflection level of TTT.

LK is nice and smooth, not patchy, and doesn't leave a hideous stain when you want to remove it, so that's good, but since I don't have big problems with TTT, I skipped LK - If I get another vampy lip this season, I want it to be one that looks different than TTT by more, especially because the extra black in LK makes it a color that'll be better overall on younger skin than mine. This pale teenage girl was trying it on the same time I was and it was more flattering on her, but I think that's just me being more fussy, since I have vampy lipsticks up the waazoo already.

This is helpful because I love ttt I have not got it to work for me so I'm happy lk is not patchy

Thank you for your thoughts on this! I'm constantly going back and forth between getting Lingering Kiss or Living Legend (from the Matte collection) as my TTT substitute. I sold my TTT because that patchiness was just too much drama for me ^^

Gorgeous on you! Thanks for the swatches. I think I need 3 of this colour (but it takes forever to finish one

Arm swatches! I'm a NW 10-13 for reference. The are (from top to bottom): moxie, GK, ANR, HA, YTL, Myself, sin, LK, and media. They are all one swipe (so pigmented) and are super creamy. Seriously, the mattes are not dry at all. I am in total love with the bold yet softness (is that a thing?) of these lipsticks. The first photo has flash and the second doesn't.

The collection hasn't launched yet in Germany but this just gave me a reason to go and swatch it in store. Looks beautiful and gets added to my maybe list :) That is now: Maybe Lingering Kiss and/or Myself
I like it cause it's something I can just throw on and go

Hmm, FE really does look powdery.
In her review Liba said that it wasn't powdery / chalky at all. I will bet that it is a lot like Cheeky Bugger in formula in terms of providing a sheer glow.

Personally I think it would be gorgeous on you Naynadine! With your skin tone, you should definitely consider it!

I'm holding out for Living Legend or maybe something from Nasty Gal or Rocky Horror - it's not like we won't have plenty of vampy choices. I've got so many vampy lipsticks and I just don't go through them very fast because they're usually so long lasting, so I really only want unique ones. I really want one that's like Potent Fig, but not as fussy fussy fussy.

The extra black in LK will probably be more noticeable on your skin tone - but hey! that's not what I'd call a bad thing :queen:  You'll be happy it's not such a pain like TTT. In a weird note, when I first got TTT, it was very fussy on me too, but it's not as bad anymore. I don't think my lips are any smoother now, so I'm wondering if I used it enough that it softened up a bit/ got rid of some manufacturing residue. It's odd - it just does much better on me lately. Okay so I saw the Turtle loves makeup vid. I need GK now. Probably wont back it up though. I still have all my Heaux backups to go through. Also, Talk Sexy seems like it would be awesome over PH. I want it to wear with that.

This makes me even more excited for Myself!  Siren Song did not flatter me at all (when will I learn the summer collections do not work for me!), but this looks like it will be a go-to. :eyelove:
Myself will def flatter more people than siren song
