Purdy. Purdy. Purdy. Now I know I made the right decision in buying YTL.

Nordstroms has a sensible policy.
I wish M.A.C online and other places in the U.S would do the same.
It seems that they are less worried about fraud (in which case we would be prevented from buying and importing all brands),
but they are more concerned about international customers buying products for much less than they would usually pay.
Nordstroms at least makes the distinction between the little consumer and the fraudsters/bulk buyers using professional forwarding services.

I'm just grateful I can order certain brands and products unavailable here, like my Lancome moisturiser that was never released here. Any yes, it's nice to order at half price for those things we can find here too!

I don't believe Nordstrom is concerned about international customers paying less, rather from what they have told me it is a request from the companies directly who are seeking to prevent their goods being shipped internationally and purchased for non-local prices. They would appear to be controlling the prices they set in various international markets. My understanding of their current policy is that orders, big or small, to forwarding companies for the proscribed brands, are to be cancelled.
