MAC Viva Glam Rihanna 2 (Sept 11, 2014)

I was at MAC today and saw the lipstick and lipgloss sitting behind the counter so I asked the girl about it and she didn't even know what I was talking about. Surprisingly she let me open them and swatch them (I'm trying to post the picture but it won't let me I don't know why). The gloss layered over the lipstick is AMAZING! Even all of the swatches I've seen posted online don't do this combo any justice. I highly recommend everyone buy this you will not regret it!

Soooo I made it to the counter to check out icon & pink cult but they had the viva glam one behind the counter so ended up testing that one instead! It's a pretty unique shade and goes on much Sheer than I expected. I am not so sure if I like it on me though! I might get it just for the uniqueness & it did look prettier combined with the lipgloss! I wonder how often I will use it though ! Some swatches; Viva glam riri 2 Lipglass; lipstick; icon & Lipglass + lipstick

It's an odd color that I will totally end up mixing with another color when I wear it. So to me, what's the point.

*sigh* All the swatches had me sold--until Karen and T's showed up lol. Although I do need to see T's full face shot. I still think it's a gorgeous l/s but I now think it may not flatter me. @gabzilla RVG2 seems like a much cooler toned version of Caliente

They don't look very similar to me. Caliente is more red based and it also has a totally different finish than VGR2. Here are T's lips swatches. VGR2 on the left and Caliente on the right.

Thank you so much! Caliente has a copper-y look to it, I got it at a CCO this weekend and for some reason I thought of VGR2. I guess I'm too excited for VGR2 lol

I have actually been wearing Caliente a lot lately! I got that and Sheer Seduction from Temp Rising last year and fell in love with the finish. I wish they'd make more Dazzle lipsticks.
