And a crappy one at that IMO. Maybe I got a dud but my PH feels nothing like my other amplifieds. It's slippery and patchy. Grr I hate that lipstick for disappointing me when I had such high hopes for it. Bitter mode on :lol: Incidentally, you say in the first post that the collection will be available at select MSO. Do you know if it's going to be just 2 stores like Kinky Boots or will it be more widely available?

Yours wasn't a dud. The craptasticness of PH was widespread. And this will be a wider store launch than Kinky. I THINK top 25, but don't quote me. I don't know what stores, but i do know it's more than 2.

Yours wasn't a dud. The craptasticness of PH was widespread. And this will be a wider store launch than Kinky. I THINK top 25, but don't quote me. I don't know what stores, but i do know it's more than 2. Makeup gods willing!

I will be in the States between 15-20 Oct (well, arriving the night of the 15th, so it doesn't really count) so I'm going to order NG online if I manage to catch the online launch. If I miss it (which is highly likely, as stalking and jetlag aren't exactly a match made in heaven), I'm dragging my arse to the nearest MAC store to try my luck!

re: PH - I didn't follow the thread closely so I wasn't aware so many people were less than pleased with PH. On the one hand I'm glad I'm not the only one (rules out user error hehe) on the other hand I feel sad that a lot of folk were disappointed with their lippie.

I bought PH because it was a purple, no questions asked. But I didn't find it purple enough. It wasn't t long lasting on the lips and it got everywhere

Snap! That just about sums up my decision process when it comes to purple lip products. Rational, moi?

Rational??? I just like purple. If I see a nice coloured lipstick (excluding red and pink) and I find as unique, I'll buy it and wear it

Rationality definitely flies out the window when it comes to purple lippies. For me anyway

I own New York Apple, VG 3 (yes [@]NaomiH[/@], I bought it on Friday) Ruby Woo, VGR1, Instigator and some random reds from MBA. Pinks - CYY, LW and again other random pinks from MBA. I just don't wear them on their own, I have to wear another colour with them. For me to wear reds and pinks, I have to darken it with something or wear for special occasions (but then again, I did wear Illamasqua's ESP to a wedding)

Have you tried Chili and VG1? Dark Side and Diva if you want something deeper. They are my favourite permanent reds from MAC. I'm not going to mention my fave LE reds for obvious reasons...

When I buy a red or a pink, it has to scream at me. Like PP which is still available the UK website. It's screaming at me and plus it's in one of my favourite finishes, and that's frost. I have been looking at a couple of Reds, some have peaked my interest (not naming which ones) But I really want is a red that's deep and on the verge of being a burgundy instead of a red
