I was originally gonna skip the pressed pigments, as I do so every year (just not something I wear) but I did pick up Noblesse Oblige this year and I have to ask you guys what kind of brush do you apply it with? I know people like using their fingers but the tester at my MAC store for one of these babies have been crusted over with a soft layer. The glittery grits were gone and smoothed over and it was just not swatching very good at all. I kinda want to keep that from happening to mine. Any tips? Greatly appreciated. TIA.  PS I searched the August 2013 pressed pigment collection thread as well as the December 2012 one and advance search didn't show anything relating to this question
Just your fingers. The brushes suck for applyin these. If it gets a film just scrape it off with your fingernail or a spatula and use the scrapings.
Thank you! I used fingers today and yesterday to apply Noblesse Oblige.....but I actually have both brushes (two of 239) and I'm not using my 242 for anything so I'm going to try the 242 brush. Thank you so much! And could you ladies please tell me about the wonders of cremesheen and how it's different than lipglass esp application and lasting....I actually love the tacky feeling of lipglass for what it's worth :)
Cremesheen glasses are sheerer, not sticky, don't wear as long, and are more cushiony.

After being a good girl for about six months or so I kind off fell off the wagon yesterday. My haul: - NFP - SoR - SR - Rebel (already have that one and really like it, so considered this a BU in special packaging) - Nostalgic - pigment / glitter in beige / gold - pigment / glitter in bronze - pigment / glitter in pink / rose - Viva Glamorous bag with VGRI and VGRII Also bought 12 pairs of Red Cherry / Ardell lashes and managed to score Pink Sprinkles blush and That Trillion Dollar Look quad from the Simpsons. Yay! Still, I felt a bit nauseous after checking out. Hope I can be good again. P.s: did I read somewhere that Prince Noir is being repromoted? I am really trying to avoid reading all the threads to keep myself in check, but I would love to get PN...

It's lovely to see you post again. And congrats on the epic haul! I suppose you placed your order very soon after the collection went live because the bronze piggie set was sold out when I checked yesterday afternoon.

hi Buick :happydance: Well, I've been lurking in the dark, trying to avoid in-depth info on collections for my wallets protection. I kind of fell off the wagon after RHPS. Got 3 lippies and some other stuff from MAC, and then my mind started short circuiting again... Lovely to see you again!

Nothing wrong with falling off the wagon every once in a while. Some of us haven't actually been on that damn wagon for quite some time, let alone fall off it :haha: . I've been going overboard with my makeup hauling in the past few months anyway but the new NARS lippies obliterated the little financial common sense that I had. The RHPS lipsticks are amazing, so I'm really glad you got them. That was a good move lol. Maybe the bronze set hasn't even been available then. Woohooo!
I forgot: I also got Bad Fairy and Formidable np. Well Buick, nothing like a pro enabler to take away that sense of guilt eh:haha:

I have a Bad Fairy + BU from VV and the Orly dupe for Formidable so I was safe (yaaaay!). I don't know if I'd have picked them up even if I didn't because I significantly cut back on my nail polish buying in the past 1-1.5 years. Go me!

I forgot to ask - where do you get your Ardells from?

Well done! You, cutting back on polish? I was just thinking about that since I am doing my nails. My nail polish addiction is reasonably tame, so I'm good. At least your recent splurges on NARS were gorgeous :eyelove: I placed my first order on MadameMadeline.com. They sell several brands, including Ardell and Red Cherry. Loooove....

Yup, I'm no longer a slave to the NP fumes. I still can't resist RBL but they don't have new collections very often so it's not too bad. I also picked up a few bottles of Lippmann and Formula X when I was in the States last month.

Stay away from those NARS lipsticks is the best advice I can give you. I dunno what they put in those things but they're worse than crack!

re: MadameMadeline - thanks! I can't order anything at present but the shipping costs look pretty reasonable so I know where to go when I need some falsies
