Horrible. Nightmare. The worst nightmare that I ever had was about a fire at my home. Extensive smoke damage but my entire lipstick collection melted into a big gooey mess. The tubes were intact but the contents were just a mess. I woke up in a panic.

I had a dream just a few days ago that I had a bbq and all my lippies got stolen. I was going to people's houses banging on doors and snatching purses to check for my lippies. Crazy how precious they are to us!! I ain't letting anyone near my collection!

How is the lasting power of Kinky? Is it pretty pigmented upon initial application?

My kinky arrived today and let me say, it is GORGEOUS! Such a beautiful, beautiful red. Unfortunately, I can only admire it in the tube and in swatches since my lips are recovering from brutal cold sores, but I know that I will love it once I can wear it.

For me, the color seems really classic, and just perfect. Exactly what I was hoping for. An excellent red.

I can't speak to the lasting power, but it is definitely a matte--opaque and very pigmented.
