Russian Red was my first MAC red and it remains one of my favorites. I probably get more compliments when I wear it than anything else. Russian Red would definitely be a nice one @YarahFlower. It fits with your preference for a blue based red as well as a matte. To be honest, I think Russian Red is more of a matte/satin hybrid, but I love it. Stays on a long time and it's comfortable to wear.

Russian Red was my 1st MAC red too. It was in the Wonder Woman packaging. :heart:

My first MAC Red was, funny enough, MAC Red lol. I still like it but my favourite has got to be Absolute Power from the Strength Collection! I don't own Russian Red though.... really don't need no' mo' reds lol.

My first MAC red was Charmed I'm Sure. So sad I wasn't able to get Deeply Adored in the first launch, but I was able to get it the 2nd launch a year later. Deeply Adored is my HG red of all time.

LOL, I hear ya. I sure don't need anymore reds, either, but who am I kidding? I'll still buy them! I still don't have MAC Red!

I don't feel comfortable in reds. I have Red Dwarf, Fire Sign and Brave Red but rarely use them.

I've been thinking about Lady Bug since it's a lustre but it will probably sit too.

I always like how they look when the MA does it but I don't feel comfortable going out with reds on. But, Yarah, your lips are incredible you need to wear reds.

Funny how we all have our own preferences, i feel the most comfortable in reds and the most uncomfortable in nudes. I think Lady Bug is a good option if you're somewhere in the middle :).

You remind me of my mom. My mom has worn only red lipstick for over 30yrs. No other color; everyday lol

Lady bug was my first Mac red! Wore it a ton and felt really comfortable doing so!

On a totally unrelated note, does anyone think that this collection is launching as scheduled? I keep on checking for updates but notta!

I actually feel this way a bit too. But I have been trying to embrace nudes lately.

Just googled it! I love it!!!!!!!! I like RR more that RW! I might just get both! What do you think about 'sparks of romance' from the heirloom collection? Was not able to goto the MAC counter today, migraine is too strong today :crybaby:
