MAC X Philip Treacy Collection (March 26 / April 2, 2015)

I swatched my RW and Genuine Treasure earlier today and I'm in love. RW takes 2-3 swipes to go to fully opaque, but I really think it's worth it as the color is gorgeous and it takes me at least two swipes to clean up my wing/edges anyway. I'm debating buying a BU. GT is really pretty as well, definitely glittery in a good way though. I can't wait to pat it over a smoky brown eye look.

Anyway, just a couple of quick and dirty swatches, first one is RW on NC42 and the second is GT, swatched then blended.

i have both I love up more I will have to Swatch them again but I think hc is darker then up

I've been lurking on this thread for the past few days and you all seem lovely so I decided to join.  Anyway ended up ordered HC and it's my first MAC lipstick.  Being new to this whole makeup thing I tend to keep things pretty neutral with the exception of a few red lip days.  HC is definitely fun and bright but I'm not sure if I can pull it off.

You look fabulous! Great choice for your first MAC lipstick, and we're glad to have you here with us :welcome:

it sucks that ppl are having issues with royal wink. it really is a gorgeous color. may i suggest a possible dupe, sephora nano eyeliner in azur blue. I have it and it's pretty amazing. great pigmentation and it's perfectly opaque, not streaky or uneven at all and only $5. it is a pencil not a gel but it's worth a shot http://www.sephora.com/nano-eyeliner-P235502?skuId=1070952

Two of my main blue liners for years were actually Sephora. They're so grinded down I don't have the names! Before there was nano. Then I recently got one from Avon then UD.

Top to bottom: Avon Mega Impact liner in Extreme Cobalt, Sephora blah blah, Sephora blah blah, UD 24/7 in LSD.

I love the bottom one!! Alas, UD is not sold here, Beautybay does not ship UD to belgium anymore, and no London trips planned for me in the near future... May have to do a quick car trip to France, there UD is sold at Sephora. If I don't mind the speed limit too much, I can be in an hour in Lille, lol (and usually there are no speed checks on that road). Hmmm, i think I may need HC too, but will probably go look at it in the store instead of ordering it online. I find that I already took a "great risk" by ordering Petite Red, haha! But you people are definitely selling HC, MAC should sponsor you!

I'm glad I got Genuine Treasure - Reflects antique gold from MAC Posh Paradise collection. It is pretty. Since I don't have to buy it in this collection I can pick up more items.

I just played with my items--I like HC way more than I thought! It's very feminine and strong. The texture is good too--just a touch of satin. Really, really nice. Even though I'm conservative and love my neutrals, HC seems just perfect.

I like Blush Nude powder more than I thought. It's not a highlight, it feels more like an allover beauty powder (NC15). It definitely has a soft satin glow. I thought from reviews that it was matte--I'm relieved that it's not. Too bad I didn't order the Nude powder before it sold out--I would have liked to have picked that one up too.

HC is very pretty on you, it's always nice to have variety...once you start rocking these bright shades, chances are you'll end up with a lot of them...especially if you hang around us here!
