My BU balls came today...it was REALLY hard to open. I almost panicked.... I started worrying I'd need a crow bar or hammer??

My liquid matte lipstick Fleur de Givre (frost flower?) arrived!
It's true to the velvet description because it didn't dry completely matte on my lips. It felt like velvet. The good thing is that it didn't suck the moisture out of my lips like most liquid lipsticks do. It didn't accentuate lip lines either and the finish is very natural.
I have very pigmented pink lips so the lipstick color is more of a darker MLBB on me instead of the sensual berry matte description from the press release. I can't say how long it lasted because I don't really care about such things, and it was already night time when I returned home from a 2 hour finance test when my sister gave me the package. Tbh I was about to skip the lipstick based on that MACesque description of the sensual berry matte and because I don't like liquid matte lipsticks (many of them are too drying and harsh), but thanks to you ladies hyping about it I'm glad to have bought Fleur de Givre because I like it a lot. Guerlain should make more of these maxi velvet liquid lipsticks in more colors.

It may be my favorite powder (next to Les Beiges but a different animal) EVER!!! I seriously do not ever want to be without it, I love it on that much. I don't understand Guerlain's reasoning to make a staple powder like this LE. It makes no sense at all.

You did see the swatches I recently posted right? It will look the exact same shade with a lighter application swatch. Its very opaque no matter how thin or thickly you apply it. You can do a light application on your lower lip & smoosh your lips together for a slightly lighter look, but the shade will look pretty much the same.

It wasn't me, but thank you for the comparison! Looks like I need la mysterieuse...Not sure who asked but the Rouge G and La mysterieuse arent close! Rouge G is a yellow toned rosy pink while the RAV is a rosewood shade on me!!

I don't think it's like the Nars translucent powder - its WAAAAAY better...heck, it's even better than the 00 Blanc powder imho!!!
I will craft my email to send & call to BEG for this to be perm with refills.
Oh, Sephora sent my replacement of this powder with one day flash shipping but it will be here Monday
