Chanel Fall 2015

I gave up on the blue liquid liner. It was just too much of a pain to work with. I tried picking up product with a brush from the applicator, I tried smoothing out the line after applying with a brush, and I tried to just use the applicator. No go for me. I did find some other pretty blues out there. One is new from Lancome, they have a liquid in a pencil, ok it's just a pencil, but it is good enough for me.

For Chanel liquid liners, the trick is a series of tiny dots going across the lash line. Then I take a dark shadow and go over the dots. No more bleeding out, or other issues. If you try to make one swipe like drawing a line, it will not work, ever....

I like the dot idea, but I don't want to have to go over with another shadow.

I used the powder shadow since I have hooded eyes and it stops the transfer of color onto my fat that hangs for the hood. If you don't have hooded eyes, then just take a eyeliner brush and pull the dots together. Works perfectly for the no hooded eye people in the world.

ahhhh, so there is an issue with the linee. Glad to know I'm not the only one who has trouble with it.

I'm so sorry to say today is the first day I used the Tisse d'Automne quad. I haven't really used any of my fall collection items from any brand and I'm already buying Holiday stuff. Anyway, I love it! It was quite neutral looking too. I put the pink all over, the bronze on the lid and the darkest color in the V. I skipped the olive color. I wore it with Ardent on the lower lash line. I have however been wearing Ardent like crazy. I may have to back up. I did feel that the look could use a dark green liner. I remembered one of the liners from this collection looked like it had a greenish cast so I decided to pick it up today. I wore this look with the Alezane blush and Melancholie RCS. Love it all. I still have a few more items to buy from this collection and then I may have everything. This collection was a hit for me.

Definitely a hit for me, too! This week I've done a couple of similar looks with the quad and various liners, and I also had a Rouge Gorge day. I always wear Alezane because I heart it times infinity.

I got Temeraire as well as Melancholie but I've never actually worn the former--I have trouble incorporating it with the quad or RG. Did you get it/have you tried it?

Glad you are loving the green liner. I love that green liner (Feuilles) and wear it about every other day. Am really thinking I may need a backup. I then user Erable -- the bronze liner on the lower lash line and I've been wearing both with TF Jade eye shadow and some gold, bronze, and cream looks. They are just staples.

Yes. I have Temeraire too. I wore it once or twice and then put it aside for my summer glosses. I was thinking I probably should have worn it instead of Melancholie. Maybe tomorrow.

Today it was the day that FINALLY Fall Collection arrived in Stockholm! I tested the products but I'm the only one that didn't like the too much sparkle of Alezane blush? Amazing color but all this glitter is somehow too much at least on swatch! Is this also noticeable on cheeks? Tisse D Autumne is a favorite, along with Erable and Ardent stylo yeux , rouge gorge Temeraire RCS and Ecorce Sanguine np! I am also interested in the Velvet top coat! Entrelacs is another nude tone palette and if it wasn't the embossing I wouldn't care at all ! I will go for the limited items first since I'm saving for Guerlain launch and then go for Tisse and I'm torn for Alezane purchasing it or not?

The shimmer is obvious only in the swatches!! It isn't that obvious once you apply it!! Same is the case with golden sun!! So :nods: for Alezane!

Does anyone think Golden Sun transforms according to what you are wearing. Today it matches perfectly with my monochramitc purple look. It looks like a silvery purple. LOL

I keep coming back to this collection. I wore Temaire today. I think that is the name. The reddish RCS with Cinnamon lip pencil today. I was looking for a good match for this lip pencil. I will try Red Brown with the RCS next time to see which combo I like best. I also wore the quad. I wore Mac Riri Bad Girl Gone Good blush with Mac Shaft of Gold highlighter but now browsing this thread I realize I could have gone with Alezane blush. I haven't worn it in ages. I forgot all about it.

Y'all.

I just finished my Erable eyeliner from this collection.

Already.

Thank goodness it's permanent- it's the perfect soft brown for lining the lower waterline. Now, if Chanel would make Perle de Lune permanent, I would be set between it and Erable for all lower lash line lining forever!
