I am wearing Vermillion Vee today. I think it looks more coral on me. (no filter or adjustment to image) As to quality...smooshy is the word that comes to mind. It does not seem to evenly coat in color. I had to apply 2 coats. I did line my lips with Redd and used P&P lip, but the jury is still out.

@Elegant,
I have not worn my Tatcha yet, as last weeks date night was postponed, due to "cranky man syndrome." *eyeroll* But I am hoping this weekend. ;)

Echoing some sentiments on the packaging.
I am a bit disappointed. I honestly wish they had simply used the promo image on box for the actual packaging! It is sharp, crisp, bright & vivid..However, the colors of the product packaging seem a bit "muddy," the imagery is blurred, and it is no where near as bright or vivid. I am going to keep the compact because I do need a pressed powder in my bag and it is nicer than plain black.

Even though I am not partaking of the Vibe Tribe collection, I wonder if the packaging there is going to suffer in quality as well

It looks beautiful on you, but after hearing about all the quality issues I'm glad that I only got one lipstick, especially for the ridiculous $20 price tag. I haven't worn DDDevilish yet, has anyone had any problems with it quality wise?

A Specktraette that I'm friends with IRL got DDDevilsh, and it looked fantastic on her. She got a lot of compliments when she wore it today, too. She did not mention being unhappy with the quality.

No problem here! Mind you, I'm in Canada so it may be a batch issue, but I've been wearing both Vermillion V and DDDevilish and they seem excellent quality to me! LOVE them! The packaging is mind-blowing. Every time I pull it out of my purse it puts a big smile on my face. Just gorgeous.

I got my goodies today and I am definitely in agreement with the Specktrette who said they wished MAC would just use the packaging in the promo pic. I bought 2 of the compacts and they are very different from the promo pic and from each other, and neither of them have the quality or detail that the the one in the photo has, and neither have any red at all. There are also little cartoon ladies that in my eyes are kind of lame, like 90s retro cartoon style, and it bugs. That is not at all my style.

On to the actual products:
Plum Princess is great as a color adjuster, as that really is what the the 3 non-traditional colors are meant to be, and I have used it under a few of my go-to pinks to cool them down. It's more of a pain than my lifestyle these days has time for, but it is a truly brilliant product for cool toned ladies who just cannot find cold enough pinks (that don't have tons of white in them), and I did love the way it looked today after I took the time to apply it.

Peony Pavillion CCB: Looks freaking neon in the pot but applies with a translucency that I appreciate. There is no white in the mix at all so I don't think it will read as ashy on anyone, but rather as a sheer candy pink. It's a touch too warm for me, but shit, everything is.

Mu-Mu Bloom E/S: Great as a blush! Use a fluffy brush, this mo-fo is pigmented!

Also bought VV and CG but think I am going to give them as presents.

tbh I think it's a little too pale for my skin tone. I was hoping it would've been a tinge darker

I love Plum Princess on you! I am sure you can darken it with a liner, although I think it's lovely as it is on you already.

Glad to hear you love them:twirl::twirl:! I skipped VV and went for Plum Princess, DDDevilish and Cloud Gait (for mixing/funsies).

Does DDDevlish remind you of any other pinks you have? I should get mine in about a week, my US haul is on its merry way!

Oh my, so I just called MAC CS to get a return label & she told me there have already been a lot of complaints/returns on this collection

Major ouch, this collection seems more like a fail than a success.

MAC Brandt bros, MAC Trolls, MAC Soft Serve...? When is MAC Specktra coming out lol

Yeah... When is MAC going to sit down with us and do a collection dedicated to Specktra???
