Ok, so has anyone every heard of MANEMAXX extension system before? Apparently they are non damaging, natural, and most importantly, easy to DIY. I have done my own extensions before, and have been mixing up my hair for years, so I am not at all nervous about the actual process. I guess they sell a "starter kit" online, but I have most of what comes in it. The kit is about $180, but I found out the melting pot is a la petite wax warmer you can buy at Sally's for $22, and then I can just get the wax (or Tembond) on the manemaxx website for $30, therefore saving about $130! The regular kit also includes a DVD but I have heard when it shows the actual installation, it kind of speeds by and you can't see much, and there are some pretty good videos already on youtube, so if you don't know how, you could always check there. I'm just curious if any of you have ever tried this sytem before, because it seems a little too good to be true.

Also, I was wondering what you all consider the best human hair (able to color, style, and wash) to use for bond extensions, and the best (affordable!) brand? I would love to hear of your experiences and suggestions!

I plan on getting all of my supplies, and doing the extensions before my birthday (Feb.4th) so I've been doing my research. Fusion extensions are way too damaging and expensive, clip ins never stay in my hair, metal loops are annoying and uncomfortable and glue is too messy (and again, damaging!) So I really think I'm going to give this method a shot. I will be sure to post before and after pictures for everyone!
