My advice: If he hasn't given you the best of himself, don' give him the best of yourself. Don't let it steal your focus and make you depressed. He hasn't earned that yet. Good luck!

I hate to say it but the sudden lack of contact makes it seem like he might be seeing someone else. If you feel like you have to tell him how you feel maybe you can get together and tell him you'd like this to be more than it is but be prepared for the possibility of rejection. I've been in similar situations with guys I ended up really falling for and it never ended well for me. :(

I feel like ive been in this same type of situation many times over.
usually for me it means theyve lost interest and are seeing someone else =\ it sucks.
But then again I work in healthcare.. residents are busy people... their schedules change a lot and are under a lot of stress..no sleep etc.
maybe give him another chance and see what happens if not then well..
I promise you... you'll find what you're looking for and you will see why things didnt work out with anyone else..
ive been in this situation many times over the past 3 years.. and eventually when I stopped looking I found exactly what I was looking for all along :)
