    Will a semi-permanant color cover up my highlights?

    So, I got my hair dyed to a cool brown color with caramel highlights and lowlights.. but i miss the red!!! can i use a semi-permanent color to add in some red? or would that cancel out the highlights and lowlights?

    has anybody tried this? I researched some of the blogs, reviews, and what not on it, and it just sounds like Jesus in a bottle. It's quite expensive ( $50), but has anybody tried this stuff?

    Need a good quality hair color dye :)

    So, I'm low on money and now willing to spend 80 dollars on going to a salon for color. What's a good at-home color dye? Right now, my hair is turning a brassy brownish-red. I'm going on vacation this summer, and want to tone it down to a dark brownish color. Any suggestions?
