I'm a new MAC employee (Canada) I just do not understand the discount process. Some are saying you have to pay for a PRO discount. But isn't there suppose to be a 60% discount for MAC artists?? Does that exist? Is there a fee for it? How do you get it?

How does the MAC discount work? Do you have to pay a fee for it? What about for those who are MA's at MAC counters. I heard that you can only use your discount at freestanding stores and not counters.
