I will be honest i do not care about review nor I trust them much. I see people complaining "omg it makes me look so greasy" and then someone else said, "omg it is enhancing my dryness and looks so dry and patchy" . ok which one is it? greasy or dry? a lot of people either have awful skincare, and bad skin to start with, or they do not know how to apply foundation so I do not rely on reviews i need to try it myself .

Have you seen any positive reviews?
smlx0 on YouTube has been doing vlogs every day in December, and she has used it the past couple videos. She has kind of a love/hate thing going on with it. She said in the comments of her most recent (I think) video that it is absolutely beautiful the first couple hours but not as Long wearing as she expected it to be. I believe she received it for free and said she would not purchase it with her own money.

In that same vlog she shows a photo she took of herself with flash and it looked gorgeous in the photo.

Alex Steinherr on instagram has been posting stories about it the past few weeks and she says she is obsessed with it. So who knows? It probably is one that would need to be sampled to see for yourself. People are all over the board it seems so far.

Yikes! I would NEVER use that much of any foundation! That said I won't even consider ordering it until I see an ingredient list and NARS is clearly not interested in responding to customer requests for ingredient lists.

Putting ingredients lists online should be the default practice for every company.

Most of the reviews I’ve seen have been either negative or said that it’s an OK product. Having said that I take most reviews with a grain of salt. There are maybe a handful of vloggers whose reviews I put more faith in. Puffins Wife is a former MAC artist and currently a Nordstrom stylist. IMO, she clearly knows how to apply makeup and I find her reviews to be insightful. Another favorite is Stephanie Nicole, probably one of the more thorough reviewers out there when it comes to price comparisons and ingredients.

i think foundation more so than other products is something you have to try for yourself. I’m skipping the new NARS ones as I’m very happy with my MAC water weight and Armani Luminous Silk.

Quoting Sabrina:

"...
Right now on me it l asts all day but it’s not transfer-proof if you touch your face (ie fingers or to sunglasses). It photographs well and goes on smoothly as long as you apply with light layers. I didn’t experience any oxidation. Finish is naturally radiant and glowy..."

I may still get samples, but this is not sounding like a formula I will be happy with. *sad face*

@Monsy did you ever get to try it?

yes but i just don't know what to write about it... i am trying to figure out if i like it or not. it is ok i guess not mind blowing or anything new and wow. it is NOT radiant that i can tell you for sure. it leans satin almost matte. I wore it with nars radiance primer and i set it with meteorites compact and i looked so dry i hat to spray TONS of fix +
also i did not like it with beauty blender, not enough coverage. definitely better with the brush.

I got this last week and have been wearing it for the last few days and I actually kind of love it. It's so soft and silky. The coverage is good, maybe not quite full coverage, but very close. It is more of a satin finish, I don't find it to be matte. It wears well, doesn't seem to fade, crack or oxidize and it doesn't settle into the lines around my eyes the way the Luminous does.
I'm very happy with it.

NARS really hurt my feelings today. I went into Sephora just to see what my shade in Radiant Longwear would be. I don't have a shade in Radiant Longwear! I can't even mix shades together to come close.

Normally I wear Benares (Dark 3) in Sheer Glow, All Day Luminous and Radiant Cream. The closest thing to a match was Iguacu (Dark 3) but that was too dark and with an olive undertone (as compared to Benares which is described as having a golden undertone, but it leans red, especially when compared to these new shades). It honestly looked very flat. As though there was no undertone at all, just brown pigment. The next shade up was too light, but also has a completely different undertone and the next shade down is supposedly more red but is even darker. I'm glad to see the darker shades, but it's odd (and disappointing) because I can almost always find a foundation match in a line that has a full spectrum of shades (MAC, Bobbi, NARS, MUFE, Lancome...). The only foundation I haven't had a match in is Estee Double Wear. Anyway, rant over. Money saved. I just hope this isn't supposed to replace All-Dally Luminous.

i think it will either replace sheer glow (old outdate formula) or all day luminous - description is basically identical but all day has such a difficult formula to work with i would not be surprised
