Here's How I Significantly Reduced My Dark Circles Step-by-Step

Here's my simple step-by-step skincare routine that I use to brighten my dark circles. Note: This is not an overnight miracle! This is, however, how I was able to drastically reduce the visibility of my dark circles over the period of a few short months in a noninvasive way! MORNING ROUTINE...

What exfoliators do you use for your face?

I tried using salicylic acid for over a month and tbh I didn't really notice an improvement. I then switched over to glycolic acid and wow! I used GA for like a week and the improvement was drastic! I'm taking a break from skincare acids for a while but GA is something I def plan on...

Heat rash on my face :(

Olive or coconut oil is your skin's best friend :) I remember having spent far too long outdoors in the sun (without sunscreen; won't make this mistake again) and my face was utterly and completely red. Time helps but so does soothing and natural coconut or olive oil from my personal experience.

    Natural Skincare & Bodycare

Be careful when trying out at-home remedies on your skin as it can often result in disastrous results. Skincare is not something to play around with in your kitchen or home dear. That being said, I do recommend coconut/olive oil.

My hands are literally cracking and bleeding...HELP!

Bear in mind that moisturizer in your specific case is only a "bandage" to the problem "constant use of shampoo drying out your hands." As far as moisturizers go, I personally like using ones that contain olive oil as I find it quite soothing on my skin. With regards to the "problem" is it not...

What is the ONE thing you hate about aging and would pay to be solved?

The loss of strength both physical and mental as you enter old age. I'd pay a million dollars to anyone that discovers the cure to Alzheimer, for example.

What facial brush and dry brush will you recommend?

I personally used to use a physical exfoliant/facial brush and noticed it aggravated my skin. Then I switched over to chemical exfoliation/glycolic acid and found it to be much gentler on my skin and the results were astounding! I recommend you try out glycolic acid for 40 days and see if it...

    Do you pick your pimples?

No, it's not healthy for your skin. I do pop them when they become enlarged though, but I do it with great care and precision. Honestly , the right/best answer is to leave them be or go see a dermatologist.

    Facial rollers

I agree with others here. Face rollers aren't really a must-have. More so a nice-to-have.

Does drinking Fruit juice and vegetables helps in beautifying skin?

Fruit juice contains a lot of sugars which aren't particularly helpful for skin health. I'd stick to eating fruits whole. Vegetables juice might be okay but whole vegetables are better.

Dry patches of skin on my face. :( :'(

I'd check with a dermatologist. Using retinol every night is a great way to boost collagen production as we age. Look for a retinol serum that also contains Hyaluronic acid inside. HA is really good at moisturizing skin so that might help as well.

What food/drink is good for flawless skin?

In all honesty, increasing your consumption of plants is the single greatest thing you can do diet-wise to boost your skin's health. Also, from personal experience, I've noticed my skin's health flourish with daily consumption of healthy unsaturated fats (i.e. olive oil over greek yogurt).

    Ahhh! Rash!!

Thanks for sharing your experience. You might possibly be dealing with some sort of allergy (environmental or diet-related). I'd check to see if something is off with your diet or environment.

    Bags under my eyes

I've read that cold compression therapy (ice cube, cold tea bags) is a great short-term solution when you're in a jiffy. For long-term solutions I would strongly consider the use of retinol overnight.

    Electrolysis - reviews?

I'm personally really excited about electrolysis as I plan on getting some of my unwanted hair removed soon. As a note, the ONLY FDA-Approved method for permanent hair removal is electrolysis. For those of you wondering about laser hair removal its actually FDA approved for permanent hair...

    Skin products?

Glycolic acid (literally the gold standard of chemical exfoliation). I'm using it now and it's really nice!

    I want it all!

I'd stick to your current routine of using sunscreen and add a bedtime product (retinol) to the mix. That should do the trick!

    Forehead Wrinkles UGGHHHHHHH

Hey everyone, I've noticed that the most intrusive wrinkles seem to be those on your forehead (crow's feet are also annoying). Here's the deal: I've been working hard to fight them off without the use of Botox and I was wondering what others were doing to rid themselves of wrinkles (any...

    face wash question!

Skin is skin is skin. The only issue I would worry about is cost. Can you really afford using a facial cleanser on your entire body regularly? If the answer is yes, then go for it!

Not wearing make-up the best skincare?

Here's the deal: Your skincare or makeup is only as good as the ingredients it contains. Do your research and as long as the ingredients themselves aren't causing your skin to experience any adverse reactions I wouldn't stress it too hard. I will say that going bare is quite trendy and...
