And then I added Plumage just for shiggles and it looked that much better

Actually they both look good, and your blending is really good. I would say the first one would be a day look and the second and night look. Gorgeous, both of them.

Beautiful! Plumage is one of my favorite eyeshadows. It is so underrated. I love it.
