275 or 224?

I'd like to get a brush that's good for applying e/s in the crease. (I already have 217 but I find it hard to use for anything other than blending or applying a wash of colour.)
Now, because MAC brushes are so pricey, I can only get one right now. Which is the better choice, 275 or 224?

I have both and I rarely use my 275 brush. I personally prefer the 219 for crease then I use the 217 to blend colors. The 224 is also good for blending but it's a bit "limited" to that. With the 219, you can use it for crease and precise application of color i.e. lining lower lashline and creating a more defined outer v. HTHS!

I also use the 219 for the crease. It has a nice point to it, so you can easily get the color exactly along the crease line.

The 224 brush is like a smaller version of the 217. So I would buy the 275 and then blend with the 217.

Ok I will be the lone supporter of the 224, lol! I have the 217 and I like it for the above mentioned reasons: wash of color or for really precise blending. I LOVE the 224 for my crease. It blends out the color at the same time you're applying it. It gives a really soft look to the crease that I was never able to achieve before I had this brush. You only need a little dab of color on the tip and then do the winshield wiper motion. I just love that it kills two birds with one stone: applies and blends at the same time!
