8th Year Anniversary FOTD w/ Russian Red

So it's been a while since I last posted and decided tonight was the night to do another post since this is the first time I tried a red lip.

Tonight my husband and I celebrated our 8th year anniversary of the day we met (our 6th year wedding anniversary is coming up in May). I was inspired to do a natural eye and red lip because of the good deal I found on a dress at Charlotte Russe, the dress was $5, can't go wrong, right?

I was given the suggestion to use Russian Red for my lips and at first, I thought it was just a tad bit too bright red for me used in conjuction with Venetian l/g which the MUA at MAC suggested. So I used NYX burgundy lip liner to give it a deeper red.

thanks for all your comments, i was unsure about the red, but after all was said and done, i think that it came out great, and thanks to that dress, it totally made my outfit for the night.

if you think that looks yummy, take a look at a close up shot of the creme brulee. it was definitely really good... i ate the most, my hubby was like, go for it. and I did. =)
