Hi again girls! Bet you didn't expect me to post another so soon! heehee I'm not sure about this one. My goal was gold and green. I used three MAC pigments for the eyes- Night Light on the outside, Deckchair on the inside and lower lid, and Gold Dusk as a highlight. My routine is pretty standard now, so most other things are the same as my Barbie FOTD. Except I tried to curl my lashes (I don't see a difference in the pics), I didn't use the base coat part of my mascara (which made my lashes look a little less dramatic than last time
), I used a different lipstick of course (Maybelline Peachy Keen), I remembered to contour my nose (yay!), but forgot to fill my brows (boo!). One other thing I did was powder my forehead to lower the shine, which I'll do for now on.
I'm not quite sure why I don't like it much. Even though I'd never used any of the pigments before, it ended up reminding me of my first green FOTD too much. I'm not sure it's dramatic enough for my liking either. The green is neither bright nor bold, though I guess the gold is bright. But you can barely see that when my eyes are open due to how my brow bone hides my upper lids. Overall, I think I need to branch out into a greater variety of looks (as opposed to color combinations), but I'm not sure where to start. What do you girls think?
