Animal friendly volumizing mascara

I have been using DiorShow Black Out but, like alot of people right now, I'm on a tight budget. I was thinking of going back to L'oreal voluminous in carbon black, but after reading the entire lancome/l'oreal company tests on animals i won't be going back to either brand.

I'm hoping someone can recomend to me a volumizing mascara in a lil' less steep price range than Diorshow, from a cruelty free company.

I've heard MAC PlushLash is decent, and $12 is doable, but also know that mascara isn't their strong suit.

Any recs are appreciated!

I disagree that MAC's mascaras are not their strong suit... I beg you to try MAC Plushlash over MAC Prep&Prime lash! Or, for an even more dramatic look, try MAC Fibre Rich mascara. I am very active-- go to the gym, run, outdoor sports-- and I wear either mascara over Prep&Prime without problems of running or flaking (and these are just the regular formulas, not waterproof)!
So, just my two-cents, but the MAC mascaras are awesome, and you won't have to worry that an animal was mistreated in any way in it's development line.

thanks.
i ended up getting the fibre rich and it made them look a bit longer but also wirey with no volume so i exchanged it for the plush lash, i like the volume it gives especially using it over the Shiseido mascara base which makes my lashes look twice as long
