Any tips on applying coverup?

Alright, I've been experimenting with various ways to apply coverup, in order to get the most natural/smooth look, but I was wondering if anyone had any tips.

I pat it with my pinky. If it's not quite blended after that, I blend the edges with the skinny end of a triangle sponge.

if you apply the coverup to a soft or almost soft surface, which I is the slap right on the concealer and applies the foundation above and blend a little. But you ensure that it is the same color as your skin! When I do that, my skin looks like it is naturally flawless.

Have you tried concealing by using a concealer brush? MAC has one.

Yeah, my birthday is coming up, and I'm hoping someone buys me one... I've spent waaayyy too much money at the MAC counter latey.... *looks sheepish*
