I was talking to my counter manager today, who has just returned from a staff briefing on the Barbie collection.
According to her the UK is only getting 60 of the LE MAC barbie dolls. 10 of these will be allocated to the website and the remaining 50 will be split between Browns in NI, and Selfridges in London. No other locations will have these on sale.
She semed to be under the impression that there would be incredibly limited numbers, ie, under 500 produced, hence the tiny amount coming here. However having read the threads on here the number being posted is 10,000, obviously a fair difference.
Can anyone give me an idea on just how likely this information is to be true? I don't want to continue telling people if its completely wrong, but I have a lot of friends with their hearts set on one of these dolls who need to be prepared for a fight if it is accurate.
