Best Matte e/s???

What is your favorite brand and color matte shadows out there? It can be any brand! I've been sampling tons of mac shadows each trip to the store, but cannot find decent selection of matte shadows

Also, has anyone tried Atelier e/s?

have you checked out the matte2 finish at mac? I wasn't impressed with some of the just regular matte colours (I don't think I own even one, I was so unimpressed) but checked out matte2 and LOVE them! I find them easy to apply and blend and stay! I started out with Flourishing and have Copperplate but seriously plan to buy nearly all of them (though prob will be staying away from a bright blue like clarity since i can't pull it off).

I agree with gigglegirl the matte2 finish is really nice my fav is post haste really nice bright pink.

MUFE matte eyeshadows are to dye for. LOVE THEM!!! and I highly recommend that in any color freaks train case!

I can also recommend the Matte² e/s by MAC. My favourite colors are Newly Minted, Poison Pen and Clarity.

Me again! LOL I was surfing the MUFE thread b/c I'm wanting to branch out, try other lines, and the matte ones definitely got some praises, so when I get a chance to check out Sephora, I'll be looking closely at them!

Also want to try Urban Decay's matte's too.

NARS singles-especially Blondie, Bengali, etc.... some really beautiful rich earth colours.

One more vote for MUFE! heheh I like them better than mac matte2 as I find it easier to apply/blend, plus their color range is amazing! I love them all!
And another plus... they are bigger!
Make up store matte eyeshadows are similar to mac matte2 but I don't really like their texture/color payoff/blending

One more vote for matte2! I have pen'n'pink, fig1 and brown script and I use them a lot! The shades of the matte2 collection are maybe not that spectacular, but they are all very flattering to wear!

definately check out matte2 from MAC i always used to find it hard working the regualr matte es but the matte2 are soo smooth and easy to apply.

Mac's Plumage eyeshadow is really flattering on nearly everyone. It has just the right amount of blue and green in it to work with all eye colors.

My absolute fave matte right now is China Blue from Nars. It is a dark, but not too dark navy blue. Its to die for and applies like a dream!!! Everyone go get it.
