Hello

My latest craving is THE perfect light champagne colored e/s, which one is the best MAC makes? My first guess would have been maybe Retrospeck?, but I don't want glitter for daytime, so no lustre or velvet please. I have Twillery, and it's the right kind of shade, but a bit too dark for what I'm searching. I don't know Nylon in person, would that be too yellow?

Please, point me in the right direction

I would have to say Nylon. Maybe by looking at it looks a bit yellow but it shows up looking more off-whiteish/with a slight yellow tint. To me, that would be the perfect Champagne color e/s. HTH!

Shroom (satin finish) or Stillife paint. Nylon appears very yellow on my skin, and Retrospeck doesnt show very well unless really packed on.

hmm..nylon is kinda frosty isnt it? definitely frostier than a velvet. but anyways... i actually really like retrospect. it takes some getting used to...but i def think that applying it over a SHADESTICK will help with this e/s. or over a paint even (bare canvas to help tone it down a tad) and it definitely depends on the brush that you use!!! use the 252 brush and it will help to really get it on there. lustres are pretty tricky. if not, then you can always try baselight paint under one of the shadows that have been suggested.

if you cant find the perfect e/s shade...you can always play around with the bases to bring out other e/s that would necessarily be 'champaigne' in color to begin with.

, the mixed answers show this seems to be a bit tough - hmmm, maybe I HAVE to wait till I get to a counter at christmas and can look at it in person.

@Miss Misah, finely milled shimmer/ glow/ frost is fine!, what I meant is those little separate glitter particles of velvets and the chunkier glitters that lustres have. Retrospeck seems to be the perfect color, but if it goes on as glittery as Idol Eyes (and I'm applying it wet), I won't be happy with it (I can only wear it in the evening cause the glitter just seems too much for daily university/job wear).
