Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation Help!

[h=1]Hullo! New here, but I've a question and I'm hoping you lovely lassies can help me out![/h] [h=1][/h] [h=1]I was looking at the Chanel foundations on Nordstrom's website, (I'm looking to replace my old one-- I've found the alcohol in Vitalumiere Aqua to be too irritating), and I'd really like to try the Vitalumiere Moisture-Rich Fluid. The lightest shade Nordstrom has is 007 Ivoire. I'm dead pale so I want to get the lightest shade available, but 007 seems like an odd number to start at and I'm wondering if this is in fact as light as Vitalumiere runs.[/h] [h=1][/h] [h=1]Anyone know?[/h]

I'm not sure if that one ever came lighter but 007 isn't even available on chanel.com anymore, so you might as well give it a try. In general Chanel's foundations don't run light enough for people NC15 or lighter. I can only pull off the newer ones in the lightest shades -10 (yellow) or 12 (pink) - with careful blending, and the yellow based ones tend to oxidize so I go with the pink. Some of the older foundations used to have shades called Porcelaine and something else that I can't think of atm, but those shades were discontinued.

I've the Illamasqua Skin Base foundation in 1 (the white shade) -- I've yet to find a brand with good quality foundation that produces anything light enough for my skin. Would the Chanel respond well to being mixed?

I've never tried mixing with any of them. If you already have a white it'd probably be worth a try. I wear a mix of Chantecaille Future Skin in Porcelain + Alabaster. Chante Porcelain is quite light. Have you ever tried that?
