HI

Plz solve my this prob

My eyelids are so discoloured, almost four shades darker then my face colour so i have to apply foundation on them before eye shadow but still eye shadows dont show their true colour on me and look dirty and as eyelids ar also oily so after some time only shimmer remains n everything else just disappears. I'll soon be buying UDPP for oilyness and staying power but how to brighten my eyelid area ?
Is their any treatment for discoloured eyelids and oily eye lids, if no then plz suggest some makeup stuff for that area.

TIA

You should try mac paints.. they come in a variety of skin tone and other colors. You can get one of these that matches your skin..bare canvas, stilife, base light, untitled are some you might try. It will make your eyeshadows show up more and stay put all day. It makes blending easier too, i love the paints!

Wow, I can so relate. My eyelids are like peachy brown and the rest of my face is fairly pale

I mainly use UDPP and try to ignore the darkness. However if I really want to cover it I use MAC Bare Canvas paint, or put concealor on my eyelids. To brighten...maybe use BC paint and then a more shimmery, lighter paint color over the top...not sure which color to rec though cause I havent seem the newer colors. Good luck

Have you ever tried Benefit's Lemon-Aid?? It's made to cover discoloration, even skin tone, and act as a primer. It's also very light-weight.

I hear ya. I usually use concealer over UDPP, but I also have visible veins to cover up and it gets tricky. Sadly I just avoid using noticable eyeshadows because it will always look badly blended due to the skin underneath.
