Do white guys like black girls?

I know this is a weird question to ask but even as women do white guys seem to have a set preference compared to women? I'm a black girl attracted to white guys and I am scared to approach them because they seem to like these kinda types:



I'm of course not like that in any sense...and I think that most white guys see that as a turn-off. I asked one of my friends what he thought of black girls and he said he liked them but he preferred for them to approach him which I thought was odd.

I'm not rich, and yes I've seen the price of one of those Vineyard Vines shirts and they are expensive as hell.

I wore my hair curly/wavy ) I usually wear it pin straight and it seemed like a lot of guys regardless of race were attracted to my curly hair rather than it being straight which I thought was weird.

And also..it seemed like most don't like big breasts or big lips?

I know a white guy married to a black woman. I'm pretty confident his attraction to her had nothing to do with her blackness but everything to do with who she was and is as a person, and that her attraction to him had nothing to do with his whiteness but everything to do with who he was and is as a person.

IMO, the white guys you're interested in aren't worth it if they refuse to accept you as you are.

Let me start off by saying I am not the least bit surprised that he said he prefers that black women approach him first. It seems to me that most guys don't really approach because they are afraid of being rejected. Not everyone will date out of their race but, the flip side is, you never really know if he will be interested in you either unless you have had that conversation. Meanwhile, you both stand on the sidelines hoping the other one will approach and you end up missing out on something that could have been.

Now, one thing you never want to do is try dress a certain way, act a certain way or be something you are not just to catch and or please a guy. You won't be happy and will end up resenting him. And I agree with [MENTION=65477]shellygrrl[/MENTION], they are not worth anything if they refuse to accept you for who you are.

If you are afraid to approach, you then need to learn how to flirt and read people. I can always tell if a guy is the type I really want to talk to and get to know or if he will be interested in me by watching him and reading body language. The ability to read people is a valuable skill to have in life. And flirting lets him know that you are interested and puts the ball in his court to ask you out. You can friend them on different social media accounts and start the interaction there.
