EARTHQUAKEEE!! bay area

lol, did yall feel the earthquake? it was a 5.6 magnitude earthquake or something. fucck.. it scared me half to death, everything fell everywhere and i seriously thought i was gonna die! LOL. that was the first ever earthquake ive ever actually really felt. :\ haahha

well ive only been living in the bay area for a few months, and this was my first earthquake. ahhhh! it was crazy and freaky.

yeah i felt it. i was here when the '89 loma prieta(sp?) hit the bay area. all you can say is that i am a bay area girl.
 
i felt it too. I work at a salon and everyone ran for a door way. Products were falling and everything. I live near fremont and it was still pretty strong here. Then there was another one today at around 4 but i didnt feel it

yeah it started in alum rock and i live right off of that.. not even a mile a way.. scared the bloody fucking hell out of me.. lucky onmy my books fell over.. and some other stuff.. MY ALCOHOL is totally safe.


The mall on the other hand was pretty bloody fucking trashed.. (eastridge) i went over there to check out how my co-workers were... and my store didnt take it so well...

but isnt it better to stay indoors, as today most buildings in that area can withstand earthquakes while most people get killed by falling windows out on the streets?

Yup...that shit was HELLA strong. I live about 1 mile or less from the Alum Rock area. My apt complex is old...very very old, Im upstairs and I thought the whole thing was coming down. That was my daughters first earthquake and she was sooo freaked out...poor thing.

I think she meant they went to stand in the doorways, which is what you are supposed to do in an earthquake, In a framed doorway or under a table.
