Not very accurate description of the colors.
So this is my first FOTD. Excuse the jank-nastiness and the unflattering angles because I had just come back from working out and my mom was hogging up the hot water, so I decided to play around with my friend's huge Sephora palette that I'm borrowing. (I'm doing prom make up for a couple of friends and didn't have some colors, and I didn't have time to go out and buy anything, so I just went and borrowed my friend's palette for some of the colors.) Also, excuse the bad skin. I was playing around with the eyes and was too lazy to actually put on any serious foundation or all that jazz because it's 12:00 and I'm about to wash my face anyway.
Eyes:
Vincent Longo Creme Concealer in Medium #2
(look at picture of Sephora palette for circled colors, and also this shimmery gold that I forgot to circle in the upper right hand corner, very top and second to the very right.)
MaxFactor Volume Couture
Face:
(Sephora palette again)
MAC Studio Fix in NC35
Revlon Colorstay Blemish Concealer in Medium (didn't really conceal anything though, harrrrrr har
)
Boots No. 7 Radiant Glow Concealer in I
TruBlend with Minerals Naturally Luminous Blush in Shimmering Sands (amazing for highlighting)
Lips:
Revlon Renewist in Perfect Pastel
-I don't usually wear lipstick since I'm still in high school (but about to graduate!!!), but my face looked too bare!
(I recently converted from high end cosmetics to drug store cosmetics after losing my job. :/)
I actually was pleasantly surprised with the Sephora palette! I expected the color payoff to be somewhat weak, but it was pretty good, albeit chalky. The blushes don't stay on for a damn, though.
Anyway, I'm thinking about buying one if I keep on doing prom make up at this rate. I can't afford any more high-end cosmetics!
