Eyelashes

can anyone recommened anything for someone who has really short eyelashes and also quite brittle with no life!

my mate is desperate to have healthy eyelashes...

my lashes used to be awful and scraggly because i was using so much harsh mascara on them until i started to take off my eye makeup with vaseline and i noticed that my lashes dramatically improved - they seemed to grow longer and were super full and soft. i guess the vaseline conditioned them every night

you can get eyelash extensions nowadays, but they are expensive and only last about a month.

what about Kiss Me mascara? it coats the lashes with little tubes to make them look fuller and longer and apparently doesn't harm natural lashes.

try brushing pure Vitamin E oil (found at any health food store, the higher I.U. measure, the better) on lashes with a clean mascara wand every night. my lashes benefit immensely from it. I wear extremely waterproof mascara every day so my lashes end up really feeling the wear and tear unless I use the oil to counteract it.

I don't have any personal experience with the product yet, but that's just because it's fairly hard to find... I'd also second the Vitamin E oil rec, as I've heard good things about this method as well!

Good luck to your friend, I know eyelashes are a major contention point for me. If they don't look good, I don't feel right the whole day. Haha, maybe that's just my hang-up.
