First, I did a search - a high and low search and could not for the life of me find what I needed. There used to be a thread out there for fair-skinned ladies and I couldn't find that either. I love the "what's your favorite pigment post" but there are 479 replies and I'm a NW15 with red hair (deeper, auburn kind of color) and how many of us are out there. Would it be possible for us fair skinned ladies to have our own little place on the forum?
Here's my question: I'm going to buy some pigments. I currently have vanilla and melon - safe bets. I'm looking to add at least 10 or so to my collection, not all at the same time, but frankly I am more than overwhelmed after I've looked at all the swatches that are out there. I'm am not afraid of color, but I do not care for bright and wild colors such as chartruese, red, orange or purple. I am looking at shades in the plum, steel blue, duochrome, neutral, gold kind of colors that will compliment my blue/grey eyes. I'm also interested in golden olive. The point is, I don't have a store near me, I have a counter. I need some advise on pigments that will be complimentary for me - I simply could not get that information out of the post that is so popular considering all the differing skin tones and eye colors. If this is repetitive and needs to be moved, by all means move it or delete it!
Thanks for your help!
