False eyelashes...how many of you wear them and can you help

I just bought some and I really can't get the hand of these things...they appear way to long when I put them on...here are my questions...
1. do you apply them before or after mascara??
2. Do you trim them if they are too long, what is the correct way to do this?
3. How do you make them look like they are your own..liner tricks?? Apply mascara after...

Any help or suggestion would really be appreciated...Thanks so much!

1. BEFORE Mascara

2. You can trim them, i like to use a REALLY tiny pair of surgical scissors.

3. Put them on, then line your eyes. Go in with a pencil and dot in liner wherever there is a gap. Then apply mascara afterwards, coating the fake AND real lashes.
