First FOTD ~ Shades of Pink

I tried to play with my pinks but I can never get it to show up when my eyes are just normal open and the images do not do the shadows justice but I like it. I used too much highlight I think though (Phoof!) needed more bright pinks.

I used:

Phoof! for highlight and inner eyelid
Sushi Pink And Hepcat for middle
Blended this odd gray color I have for the ends.
Urban Decay Black 24/7 Pencil Liner

It looks nice but I wish more color would have shown up. It didn't help that I was in the middle of curling my hair and got tired/bored so I stopped therefore my hair is rather messy.

Nice shadows! Try using crimson-air shade-stick as a base on the outside lower lid and just a little bit in the crease of the eye before putting all the other shadows on. And use a little less Phloof on the inner corner of the eye. Keep it to just under the brow bone and a tiny bit on the inner corner. xx

*blush* wow thanks really I'm so new to this and I *want* to learn how to do the uber cool stuff you guys all post. So that means a lot thanks really.

And my hair yes...it seems no matter where I post I get more comments on the hair than I do on the eyes which makes me giggle. I need to actually re-color it since it's fading a bit I'm thining of upping the hot pink in the back and doing a deeper blue to offset the green tones it's taking on but who knows.

Well thank you! The front teal (it always looks greenish on camera which pisses me off because it's teal!!!) is a mixture of about 4 different hair colors from different brands and the hot pink/red in back is an SF Cherry Bomb and below that some random hot pink I found at Rite Aid but I love it so much I may bleach some of my tips of the blue and do them hot pink just a few it would look sooooo cool.

I adore pink! I actually have hot pink notical stars behind each ear with little starlets behind them so they look like shooting stars. My son is obsessed with them (he's 14 months) but keeps looking behind everyone's ears wondering where they hide their pretty stars *laughs*

Thanks for your reply really I want work more on dramatic contrasts/colors like using yellow and pink and blues but I need to get Chrome Yellow or something before I start with that.

Thank you! That's what I need to hear and I totally agree with the phoof. I need to figure out a good brush to apply highlight so it does not go so far down.
