first try with smokey eyes!

First FOTD & first real try with eye shadow Critique extremely needed!
This is the look I'm considering to do for prom.
I also didn't use a black eyeliner, but a dark brown one. Should I go and buy a black eyeliner? Black looks hideous too dark on me for everyday.
Excuse my unruly eyebrows, I'm growing them out to get them waxed right before prom.

On the last 3 pics, the eyeshadow looks blue, but it's actually black, stupid lighting. >_>

I think if you're going to wear black eyeshadow, black liner would work better. Also, I'd keep the crease colour a tad lower and a bit more blended with the lid colour but it looks good. Maybe add some false lashes to make your eyes really pop for prom.

great look! i would say use a black liner for prom. it'll look really nice and since it'll be at nighttime, it'll be appropriate. have fun at prom!

Nice look! I personally never use black liner either because I feel it's way too dark for my brown eyes with any look I do, even for night time. I always a dark brown.
Once you get your eyebrows done I think this is a great look!!

I like it just as it is. I wear brown eyeliner more often too. For the same reason, I'm very pale and black liner just seems too harsh. But I do keep a black liner to experiment with once in a while.
