2 quick looks i did. i hate these pictures. the lens i received wasn't what i was expecting. i'm an idiot. i have to basically stretch my arm out so far that it feels like it's going to pop out of my socket. i don't dig the fat face it gives me either. i'm going to keep it for standard outdoor photography but now i need to get another lens with more range. i'm so broke i'll probably just buy the same crappy kit lens my kitty broke, meh.

what camera and lens you have? when buying a lens you want to check out the closest focusing distance. If you want to take make up photos freehand it has to be at least 35cm, that's about 1.15ft. one thing to consider is getting a tripod and using that to take your pictures, it takes time and practice to get it just right but is so much more fun than shooting freehand.
