Foundation Help

I just found this forum. This is a repost from the MAC Collection. Thought I would get more help here :). In the summer MAC C40 powder foundation fits perfectly as long as I have a tan. Any other time, I'm at a loss on finding the right shade to match. C35 is off/weird looking, NC35 in the powder and/or cream turns me into a ghost and NC42 is too dark. This is NC35 in the cream to powder:

On my recent MAC visit this is what I was matched to. My face is lighter than my neck, which causes most of my trouble (I'm creole). Any MAC experts out there than can guide me to the right shade? Or any other recommendations?

KloseUp, it's really hard to try to match foundation to a picture, especially a picture with flash. If you aren't happy with MAC's color range, maybe you could try a different brand for your foundation.

shellygrrl I want a flow. So matching the face and neck is key. Right now, when I get matched I get a mask affect since my face is lighter.
