I saw this ad and they said they would send you free MAC makeup..has anyone done this?

dont click any of those free ads. nothing is free. once you click it they get your computers serial number and you will be bombarded with popups and such things. its a computer scam and theres most likely a term and condition where you have to either have a membership or buy something else to get it..

It's true nothing is free, but an ad can't get your computer's serial number (that doesn't make much sense anyways, did you mean IP address?).
That site is like the free iPod deal where you have to sign up for various things like credit cards and other offers. Whether it's legit or worth it, I have no idea.

haha yah thats what i ment... sorry. i just know each computer has a little number thing that they can pick up on and use to track what you look at. but yah thats exactly what i mean about it being like the ipod thing.. i wish it was real tho i wouldnt mind some free stuff.
