Gals/Guys over 30 How did you celebrate your 30th Bday?

I am going to be turning 30 soon and everyone keeps asking me what I am going to do.
I didn't realize I should be doing something.
Since I've had my son my birthday's take a backseat. Mine is only 4 days after his.
Geez, the last time I did anything big was when I was 21 and I went up to Tahoe, oh and 22 I got a tatoo.
I am not up for another tat and Tahoe ( gambling) is out of the question right now.
I don't really want to have a party.
So what did you do?

I'll be 29 this year... I plan on saving about $300 to go to mac or drive to dallas to Sephora..now in 2007 I will be 30, I do not really want to celebrate being 30. <g> I never celebrated 18 or 21 so, I'm not worried.... after 21 I quit looking forward to those birthdays.

I hope you find something fun to do, I would either buy makeup or go to a good concert.

I am 6 years over 30 so I honestly can't remember..(thinks hard) I actually dont remember doing anything special? I think it was just a normal bday for me. It was my first year working at MAC, 1999, my dad had passed away earlier that year so from what I remember it was a typical cake and a few pressies job with family!

A lot of my younger girlfriends stress over turning 30, one was even lying about her age to the guy she was dating and finally admitted it the night before her 30th bday party! I honestly didn't feel any sense of impending doom. I'm not an ageist or freaked out about getting older, cos honestly, what's the alternative? Plus I am a sexy muthafu**a at any age

Come to Vegas Ness

or save for a really good trip somewhere else?

I am the same way. I really could careless about turning 30. My husband freaked out on me! He laid around the house for a fews complaining, ugh is was weird.

OMG I had a chance to come to Vegas this weekend but my mother couldn't watch my son. I was so bummed! I've never been to Vegas!

You've never been here? You should definetely come for a visit, it's a lot of fun to see if you've not been before. Too bad things didn't work out with your mom.
