How much would you pay for Masque l/s?

Ok I am a total nude lip fan, I own multiples of Myth & Fleshpot and also have Blankety, Viva Glam II, Creme d'Nude, Honeylove and Cherish (although these last 5 are not ones I wear everyday), but I don't have Masque and have wanted it for some time now- However, the only one available is like $30. Is this too much in your opinion to pay for a lipstick? Do you think a NC20 will like this color? Does it tend to be light like Myth or a bit darker like Blankety?

I'm debating if I should bite the bullet and just buy it or hold out for a better price...I just want to make sure that when I get it it's not like a total disappointment.

I am NW15 and Masque is one of my most beloved and favorite MAC lipsticks. HOWEVER I would not spend $30 on it. Someone, someday will have it in the clearance bin and you can get it then for a decent price. A color that comes close to it is Viva Glam II (excpet it is not as pink IMO).

I'm still waiting for mine to get here, but I spent all of $5 on it. If a lipstick is $30, it better come in a plated gold case.

^^ How the freaking H did you get it for $5???! After all my searching you find one for that price! lol.

I wish I had bought it a few months ago, but ever since then I have scoured the clearance bin almost every day, and checked ebay as well, but I guess it must be a good color b/c no one wants to part with it except for a ridiculous price - $30 is the cheapest I've seen.

If one doesn't show up soon, I bet it will be repromoted one day though, right? One can dream...

Just keep checking everyday, you'll find one for cheap eventually but definitely don't pay $30 for it.

I missed out on 2N and eBay had really ridiculous prices.. (same thing, some sellers wanted over $30...)

I checked Clearance Bin like everyday and I got lucky and found a brand new one. I'm a nude lip girl myself and I think if you have all these other ones you can hold off till you find it cheap (it will happen)

hehe, it was Marque not Masque that came out with monogram

But - you are still right purrtykitty - Masque is still at some CCOs

A friend's lightly used second one.

And sometimes you just get lucky. Good luck!! You'll find one eventually for a reasonable price.
