I got the job!!!

I got the call this morning and I am now a freelance/on call artist for MAC! It was such a pleasant surprise. I was interviewed in a big group with a bunch of girls who'd been to makeup school and such so it was very intimidating to be the self-taught underdog. I will be serving the Orange County I region (which includes much of south OC: Newport Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, etc) and I go in tomorrow morning to fill out paperwork. Just wanted to share my excitement. Thanks to ALL the ladies who offered kind words of advice and encouragement. You rock!
