I want something new in my hair.

So, I'm 17. I normally have about medium brown, shoulder length hair. It's pretty curly, too. I have had blood red streaks in it once, then blood red and blonde streaks. After I do this, guess what? Eeeeveryone starts doing it! I want something different but not too wild, because I don't want people at church to flip out and be like

look at her hair!
I don't want normal colors. I like the weird hair colors like blue, and red, and blood red, and purple, etc.
I also would like a few cut suggestions. I don't want any length taken off my hair, but I want something different. I usually get my hair cut above my shoulders with sideswept bangs and heavy layers. I like chunky ish cuts. No actual bangs though. I don't look too good with them.

How about pink and purple streaks, or if you can get away with it dye the top half red and the bottom half purple.
As for the cut I haven't a clue sorry.

Honest, if I could dye my hair any color(s) I would love to have the top layer black, or close to it, then a deep purple on the bottom layer... And deep purple bangs.
Buuut. You know, church. lol.
I'd like some pictures of ideas if anyone can find them.
